Clinical times are scheduled based on the availability of the clinical sites and may occur during daytime hours, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Practical Nursing Program Mission
It is the mission of Fortis College’s nursing programs to serve the needs of society by offering excellent nursing programs that exemplifies the highest standards and educational outcomes. The nursing programs are based upon contemporary educationally sound conceptual frameworks, which include supporting concepts of critical thinking, nursing process, therapeutic interventions, therapeutic communication, and leadership to help students develop and expand their nursing roles. Upon graduation, the graduate is eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN).
Graduation from the Practical Nursing program does not guarantee eligibility to sit for state licensure examination in this or any other state.
