An applicant to the Institute may cancel his or her enrollment to the Institute and receive a full refund of monies paid. Written notice of cancellation is encouraged, and should be mailed to Fortis Institute, postmarked no later than midnight on the fifth (5th) calendar day after the date the applicant‘s Enrollment Agreement with the Institute was signed by the student and a representative of the Institute. The applicant may use a copy of his or his Enrollment Agreement as a cancellation notice by writing "I hereby cancel" at the bottom of the Enrollment Agreement, adding his or her name, address, and signature, and delivering or mailing it to Fortis Institute, 517 Ash Street, Scranton, PA 18509, Attention: Campus President. If the applicant for admission cancels his or her enrollment as noted above more than five (5) calendar days after signing the Enrollment Agreement, and making an initial payment, but prior to the start of classes, the applicant is entitled to a refund of all payments for tuition and fees to be paid within 30 days.
