Explanation of Course Numbering System

The first three letters identify the subject area. For example, AHP represents courses in the Allied Health Professions subject area. The first number represents the level of the course: 100 series courses are generally first academic year courses or do not have prerequisite requirements; 200 series courses are generally second academic year courses, or the course requires completion of a prerequisite.
