This course is a comprehensive introduction to fundamental nursing concepts. Students will gain
essential skills in assessing and promoting health, making informed clinical decisions, understanding legal
and ethical considerations, and coordinating care effectively. The course also addresses key physiological
processes and nursing interventions related to gas exchange, fluids and electrolytes, tissue integrity, and
elimination. This foundational knowledge equips students with the essential skills required for safe and
compassionate nursing practice.
