Industrial Refrigeration provides the student with a basic understanding of the components,
methods, and principles associated with transport refrigeration and in large-scale industrial facilities.
Topics include methods of refrigerated transport, and the components, processes and troubleshooting of
chillers, cooling towers and chilled water air conditioning systems. At the end of this course, students
will be able to define, describe and identify the concepts, functions, and components involved in servicing
transport- and industrial-style refrigeration systems.
