This course is the first part of two courses in anatomy and physiology. It provides a fundamental
knowledge of the structure and function of the human body, enabling students’ understanding of normal body
structure, and functioning of different organ systems of the human body. The course includes a study of
Anatomy terminology, basic cellular principles, tissues, and organ systems, with emphasis on integumentary
system, muscular system, skeletal system, nervous system, and endocrine system.
