PSY101: General Psychology
Credits 4This course will introduce students to various visual; literary; architectural; and musical forms of artistic expression throughout history. Students will consider these art forms as representations of the global human condition during the time periods in which they were created. Students will develop a framework for evaluating and making critical arguments about various literary texts in the context of other art forms. The course will help students draw connections from various texts to their own lives, to other texts, and to the world. The course then discusses selected psychological disorders and associated common therapies.
